Veneers are thin porcelain facings that fit neatly over the front surface of your teeth. They can improve the appearance of your teeth, close a small gap or alter the shape of your teeth to give you that smile confidence.
Porcelain veneers are very durable due to the strength of the porcelain. The more tooth you have the better the result. Sometimes we need to remove a small amount of tooth to allow for the Invisalign starts to amend the teeth.
Two appointments are required for veneers.
The first appointment involves an assessment of your teeth, gums and smile dynamics. We prepare and shape the teeth where necessary. Minimally removal of enamel tooth structure. We then take an impression to send to the skilled laboratory technician who makes the veneers. This normally takes 2 weeks after which we cement your porcelain veneers.
